In case you missed it, a collection of all the images I posted while I was in Tulum + a few special ones I’ve never posted before! I decided this might be a fun way to recap the entirety of the trip start to finish. Enjoy and please let me know what you think of my Tulum travel diary!
DAY 1:
I arrived in Tulum and caught a taxi to the hotel from the bus station in town. Piedra Escondida was incredible and more beautiful than I could’ve imagined! My room was right on the beach; I literally could walk out of my room and step onto the sand. Heaven! They were also nice enough to provide a welcome margarita 🙂
DAY 2:
I decided to sleep in and have breakfast in my room for the first morning. It was raining on and off that day, so I skipped the activities I had planned and instead spent it on the beach (while there was sun), and in my room, reading, with the windows open. At night, I showered and got dressed to go across the street to Mateo’s for margaritas + mezcal!
DAY 3:
Slept in again and decided to see the Tulum ruins for the rest of the morning. They were so beautiful! Afterwards I walked to Playa Pescadores and went for a short boat ride to see the ruins from the ocean. Had a well deserved meal back at the hotel after all the walking; ceviche + sautéed shrimp with rice and vegetables. Delicious!
DAY 4:
Finally set an alarm and woke up super early for the Coba ruins! A taxi picked me up right outside the hotel and about 40 minutes later, we were there. It was hot and humid, but the Coba ruins were beautiful and inspiring. After walking around for almost 3 hours and even climbing the Nohoch Mul, I decided to press on and visit the cenotes. So glad I decided to go. Swam around Cenote Nicte-Ha completely sans tourists and it was heavenly. Had delicious seafood pasta for dinner.
DAY 5:
My official last day in Tulum; I was sad to leave, but happy and extremely grateful I was able to experience it. I spent some time at the beach in the morning just tanning and reading. It was so relaxing. Tulum was incredibly beautiful, and I would go back in a heartbeat!
Looks like such a lovely time. Tulum has been on my bucket list as of earlier this year. Looks like such a beautiful place. And love the layout of this post!
