I was fortunate enough to be asked to tag along on a long weekend trip to Oklahoma recently. Aside from getting some much-needed fresh air, it was nice to get the chance to exercise my nature pitcher-takin’ skills.
Again, one of those moments where a wide-angle lens would really come in handy. Perhaps even a telephoto, as we saw some deer in a meadow (literally) and were too far away to get a good shot.
I was most surprised by the clarity of the water. It reflected incredibly well and close-up, you could see right down to the bottom.
I don’t normally post photos of myself here, as I’m always the one taking them, but this was just too good to pass up. I’m on the right.
All photos taken near Broken Bow.
Happy New Year!
